Our Child-Friendly Diagnostic Approach
At Dr Bhatia Joint & Spine Clinic, we understand that children need a gentle, reassuring environment—especially when dealing with health concerns. Our diagnostic process is designed to make young patients feel safe and comfortable while ensuring accurate evaluation of their orthopaedic condition.
1. Detailed Consultation with Parents
- We take time to understand your child’s medical history, growth patterns, and any concerns you’ve observed.
- We also discuss birth history, physical activity levels, and developmental milestones.
2. Gentle Physical Examination
- Assessment of posture, spine alignment, joint flexibility, and walking (gait) patterns.
- All tests are done carefully, with your child’s comfort in mind.
3. Imaging and Tests (Only If Needed)
- Child-safe X-rays or ultrasounds to view bone structure.
- MRI or CT scans only when more detailed images are required.
- Growth charting and bone age assessments may also be used.
Our goal is to diagnose the condition with precision—without overwhelming your child—so we can plan the most effective, least invasive treatment.
