Fracture vs. Dislocation: What’s the Difference and How Are They Treated?

Fractures and dislocations both affect bones and joints, but they are quite different. A fracture is a broken bone, while a dislocation occurs when a joint comes out of place. Both can result from falls, sports injuries, or accidents—and both require expert care.

At our clinic, Dr. Bhatia provides quick diagnosis through X-rays and physical evaluation. Treatment may include casting, repositioning (reduction), or surgery in severe cases. Early treatment is key to proper healing and regaining full mobility.

If you’ve had a sudden injury with swelling, pain, or deformity—visit us immediately for accurate fracture care.
